Commit Your Trust in the Lord

Psalm 37:5 “Commit your way to the Lord; Trust in Him also and He will do it. “

By placing our trust in God, so many wonderful things begin to happen in our lives. We become over-comers and we get to live a full, rich life. It allows us to move forward which means we never have to stand on stagnate ground. Placing our trust in the Lord doesn’t guarantee an easy life without any difficulties. However, the obstacles in our path became obsolete when we have God on our side! This allows us to stand strong against the enemy's tactics while growing deeper in our faith. These are just to name a few good things when trusting in God. This is good news and such a blessing for us!

The Hebrew definition of “commit,” means “to rollover your burdens on the Lord.”. To give in trust; to put into charge or keeping.

Prayer: Holy Spirit, teach us to commit all of our ways to the Lord. To let go of control and to release our plans. I know Father that You only have good plans for my life and work everything out for your glory. Thank you Jesus for setting my feet on a firm foundation.

In your mighty name, I pray. Amen.

Declare over your situation that you are choosing to trust in the Lord and not your own understanding. We know that he is working everything out for our good. This is a fact we can count on.

Jeremiah 17:7-8

But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit."
