God's Order is Complete

God’s creative power is the calling into existence what had not existed. The number ten speaks of divine order and completeness. The Creation Story is a powerful example for us. In Genesis, the phrase “God said” is repeated a total of 10 times. When something is repeated we know we should lean into it and try to understand it. I love the book of Genesis because we learn so many powerful things about the Lord. I love the phrase “ In the beginning” because it evokes so much comfort and from three words we learn that God is man’s beginning. We learn from these words that God has total power, control and all authority. There is none truly like Him.

Psalm 19:7

The law of the Lord is perfect (flawless), restoring and refreshing the soul; The statues of the Lord are reliable and trustworthy, making wise the simple.

The Creation story is a powerful example of the testimony of God’s creative power bearing witness to His glory and supremacy. God Word is FULL of so many good things too numerous to list however, I am going to focus only on a few for this month’s theme. His word is life. His Word is all-authoritative. His word reveals His creative power. The number 10 reveals the Divine complete order of the Lord. The spoken word of God testifies to His creative power. His glory on display for all throughout history. Everything about God is perfect. Everything He does has order and is in perfect completeness. In Genesis, we learn so many things about are heavenly Father created. He took what was formless and empty and spoke it into existence. We are given a pattern of the ways of the Father; He creates from start to finish. God spoke and it is done. He creates and has a plan that is always in perfect order. Whatever God does it is perfect and He says it is good.

We must only speak words of life. Words that build up and edify one another. In chapter one, God accomplishes all His work by speaking. “God said…” and everything happened. EVERYTHING changed and was never the same and it testifies to His goodness and faithfulness. I pray that you are encouraged, as you have been reminded that God is in complete control. Man is not in control. The enemy is not in control. GOD is IN CONTROL! His plan for man will never will be stopped. The power of God’s creative power sustains all things (Hebrew 1:3). God’s power is more sufficient to create and maintain you and I, creation, the future and everything else in between! Have no fear; God is for you. He is with You. He is in control. Pause and examine if there is any area in your life where you are holding onto any fear, doubt or lack of trust in the Lord. Now ask the Holy Spirit to release more faith. Tell the Lord that you trust Him. Tell Him that you give Him permission to be Lord over your life in every area.

Proverbs 18:21

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it and indulge it will its fruit and bear the consequences of their words.

We learn a powerful life lesson on the power of the spoken word. We must steward our words well. Learn from your heavenly Father’s example He has given to us. Words are powerful! Disciple yourself in the Word of God and start to learn Scripture and speak it over your life. Speak the Word over your life and circumstances.

Here's a Key:

We must have faith to please God. Expectation is the gateway to faith.Faith is everything. I heard faith described as the currency of heaven and without faith you can’t have anything. Hebrews 11:1 - Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality – faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses.

God is our Alpha and The Omega. Our beginning and Our End. There is no above Him. There is none before Him. The number ten represents responsibility. The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines responsibility in several ways. One of the ways they define responsibility is how it refers to how you conduct yourself; if you’re trustworthy and if you can chose between right and wrong. Now going to the Word God has given us, responsibility is attached to accountability. We see this with Adam and Eve, Noah and the Ark, and Moses with leading the Israelites. In Luke 12:48 says, “ …From everyone to whom much has been given, much will be required; and to whom they entrusted much, of him they will ask all the more.” We serve a God who is active! He isn’t like men who can be lazy or find themselves stagnant. He is always working to fulfill His plan. We to must be like our Father and take on the responsibility that has been given to us. Holy Spirit, keep expectation alive in me!

Let's Pray:

Lord, I trust you in all ways with my life. I trust You to do what only You can do. I will live according to Your Word found in 2 Corinthians 5:7, “ For we walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our confident belief in God’s promises.”

In Jesus, Amen.

Scriptures to meditate on:

  • John 1:1 - In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. (The Deity of Jesus Christ)

  • Romans 13:1 - Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority accept from God [granted by His permission and sanction], and those which exist have been put in place by God.”

  • Psalm 104:24 - O Lord, how many and varied are Your works! In wisdom You have made them all; The earth is full of Your riches and Your creatures.

  • Hebrew 13:21 - Equip you with every good thing to carry out His will and strengthen you [making you complete and perfect as you ought to be], accomplishing in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

If you looking for godly community, accountability, activation and so much more. Come and be actively involved in our Godly community. Get around like-minded people and get strengthened, equipped and encouraged to step into what God has created you for. Do not let anything stand in your way, even yourself.
